Make no mistake, the F8 Tributo is a very impressive car and provides the kind of performance that was once inconceivable from anything other than a multi-million-dollar hypercar. However, if we had the money to buy a mid-engined V8 from Ferrari, we’d go for something a bit older like an F430.
This particular F430 is up for sale at Bring A Trailer and comes with a tool kit, factory books and manuals, Ferrari-branded detailing supplies, a Vehicle Identification Passport, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Carfax report. Importantly, it has been driven less than 20,000 miles (32,000 km).

A key point of difference between the F430 and the F8 Tributo is the fact that the former features a naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 whereas the latter has a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8. In addition, this F430 is equipped with a gated six-speed manual transmission and while certainly not as quick as the dual-clutch system of the F8 Tributo, we’ve got little doubt it is much more satisfying to use. The F430 was also Ferrari’s last mid-engined V8 model available with a stick shift as it was dropped in the 458 Italia that succeeded it.
Adorning the exterior of the car is a classic shade of Rosso Corsa and the supercar also features 19-inch split-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/35 up front and 285/35 at the rear.
Interestingly, this very F430 sold for $241,000 on Bring A Trailer back in January, but the purchaser backed out of the sale, hence why it is up for grabs again.
