SEAT has released the first teasers of the facelifted Ibiza and Arona models, which will be fully revealed on April 15.
The updated Ibiza and Arona are going to adopt a new front fascia to bring them in line with the Spanish brand’s newer models, like the Leon, while they also promise to introduce “a revolution in the interior”.
That probably means that the two models will adopt a new infotainment system with a larger touchscreen display, and most likely a new dashboard design to accommodate it. Features, such as a digital instrument cluster, are also expected.

The supplied image revealed the new front end treatment for the Arona, which gains not only a new front bumper with a bit more of an off-road look to it but also a pair of circular fog lights just under the regular headlights, in a setup that reminds us a lot of the original Skoda Yeti.
The facelifted SEAT Ibiza and Arona will also adopt the new-style centrally mounted badges for their names. The hand-written font has been used so far on the Leon and Ateca models, and it only makes sense that the Spanish brand will use it here as well.
“The SEAT Ibiza has been a cornerstone of the brand’s success, with close to 6 million vehicles sold over its five generations, while the SEAT Arona is a clear pillar in the range, being the 2nd most sold SEAT model last year,” said Wayne Griffiths, President of SEAT and Cupra. “The updated and upgraded facelift of both models adds to the vehicles’ incredible attributes to deliver an even more complete offering whilst refreshing the cars’ design.”
