This custom Jaguar XJ6 is likely the most remarkable of its kind in existence and while we wouldn’t quite consider it a sleeper, it certainly offers more performance than you may expect.
Slotted beneath the bodywork of the British sedan is a 540 cubic-inch (8.8-liter) V8 with a nitrous systemthat pumps out no less than 1,000 hp. However, this wasn’t simply a matter of bolting on a new engine and calling it a day.

In fact, the car features the entire front clip out of a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro and has a nine-inch rear end. The Jaguar was also updated with adjustable coilovers which is important as the owner frequently races it, even though you could be fooled into thinking it is more of a show car. In a recent video with AutotopiaLA, the owner says his personal best quarter-mile time in the car is a 9.85-second run. That’s supercar levels of performance.
Comprehensive modifications have been made to the front end of the car. Most notably, the standard hood was cut and a massive bulge was hand-fabricated to sit above the engine.
A lot of work has also been done to the XJ’s cabin. For example, it features a bespoke leather-trimmed wheel and an entirely new dashboard with bespoke gauges, as well as racing harnesses and a full roll cage.
