After years of declining sales, Lexus killed the GS in 2020.
While its death was sad but understandable, if you’re interested in one, you can buy a third-gen 2006 Lexus GS 430 with just 2,175 miles (3,500 km) on the odometer. The car features a classy Blue Onyx Pearl exterior with five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with HID headlights, a rear spoiler and a dual exhaust system.
Inside, you will find a leather and wood steering wheel as well as power front seats with heating and ventilation. The car also boasts a dual-zone automatic climate control system and an infotainment system with GPS navigation. While the latter looks a bit dated, it’s nothing compared to the six-disc CD changer and cassette player.

The interior looks to be in great shape, but it’s not entirely original. As Lexus fans will notice, the instrument cluster surround, center stack and air vents have been accented by aftermarket wood appliqués. Needless to say, ‘upgrading’ your luxury car with Autozone-worthy fake wood is never a good idea.
Putting that aside, the GS 430 features a 4.3-liter V8 that produces 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 325 lb-ft (441 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
While the GS isn’t particularly collectable, Private Collection Motors is asking $29,995 (£21,529 / €24,922) for this example. That’s nearly three times the car’s Kelly Blue Book value but, if you’re in the market for a virtually new 2006 Lexus GS, they don’t get much better than this.
