Carlex Design recently had the opportunity to work on a Ferrari 812 Superfast. Its owner demanded a unique interior makeover, and the tuner responded to the call.
The cockpit boasts black as the dominant color, in a leather and Alcantara combination, while parts of the seats and dashboard have grey accents. For contrast, Carlex chose yellow, a shade that is present on the seat beads, stitching and piping, on the door cards, center console, dashboard and steering wheel, and even on the headliner, which is custom-made, like the rest of the cabin. Carbon fiber trim, new floor mats and a unique plaque in the area behind the seats complete the project.
Review: Ferrari 812 Superfast Is An Ode To V12-Powered Supercars
The Polish tuner hasn’t touched the exterior of the Italian V12-powered supercar, which features a grey paint finish and yellow brake calipers.
Carlex hasn’t mentioned the engine at all, and this means that it’s stock. As a result, you are looking at a total output of 789 HP (800 PS / 588 kW) produced at 8,500 rpm, with the redline sitting at 8,900 rpm, and 530 pound-feet (718 Nm) of torque at 7,000 rpm.
The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 rockets the 812 Superfast from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.9 seconds, while top speed stands at 211 mph (340 km/h).
The 812 Superfast came out in 2017 as the replacement of the F12berlinetta and was joined by the 812 GTS convertible two years later. The recently unveiled 812 ‘Limited Edition’, with its 818 HP and 9,500 rpm redline, is coming to top them all.
