Nissan has revealed that it has just a few 370Zs left in its inventory in the United States, as its sports car is nearing the end of its life.
Upon viewing current inventory data, Cars Direct recently reported that the 370Z has essentially been sold out in the U.S. Autoblog reached out to Nissan to see if this was the case and was told by a spokesperson that “there are still a few vehicles left in inventory.” The spokesperson did not say if there are any more on their way to dealerships but it seems unlikely.

Nissan has previously confirmed that sales of the 370Z were extended in 2021. This follows on from a first quarter of this year that saw the brand sell just 28 examples of the 370Z across the country, 95 per cent less than in Q1 2020.
Fortunately, while the 370Z won’t be around for much longer, Nissan is already hard at work on a successor that should be go on sale locally in 2022, potentially for the 2023 model year. According to some reports, the new model will simply be referred to as the Nissan Z and will be based on a modified 370Z platform.
While the underpinnings might go largely unchanged, Nissan will equip the Z with the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 found in flagship Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models. This engine will pump out 400 hp and be offered with the choice of either a nine-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.
