Honda introduced the 2022 Civic last month and a presentation suggests the model will start at $21,700 when it goes on sale June 16th.

Posted by the Civic 11 Forums, the slide reveals the entry-level Civic LX will cost $450 more than its predecessor and come equipped with a push-button ignition, a 7-inch instrument cluster display, and a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Drivers will also find steel wheels and a relatively basic four-speaker audio system. On the bright side, the sedan comes with driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control with low speed follow and lane keeping assist with traffic jam assist.

Power is provided by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 158 hp (118 kW / 160 PS) and 138 lb-ft (187 Nm) of torque. Thanks to a newly standard start/stop system and a revised CVT transmission, the model returns an EPA-estimated 31 mpg city / 40 mpg highway / 35 mpg combined.

Moving up the trim ladder is the Civic Sport, which reportedly begins at $23,100. Costing $50 more than its predecessor, the model features a chrome exhaust as well as 18-inch alloy wheels. Other highlights include a passive entry system, a remote starter and upgraded upholstery. Buyers will also find an eight-speaker audio system, sport pedals and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The $24,700 Civic EX ups the ante with a dual-zone automatic climate control system, heated front seats and a moonroof. The model also has heated exterior mirrors and a 60/40 split folding rear seat.

Of course, the biggest reason for upgrading to the Civic EX is its turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 180 hp (134 kW / 182 PS) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. Despite being more powerful, the engine is more fuel-efficient as it returns 33 mpg city / 42 mpg highway / 36 mpg combined.

Lastly, there’s the range-topping Civic Touring which reportedly begins at $28,300. It’s slated to feature a more upscale exterior with rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lights and unique 18-inch alloy wheels.

Bigger changes occur in the cabin as the model has power front seats with leather upholstery, a 12-speaker Bose audio system with a subwoofer and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. Other niceties include a wireless smartphone charger, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, HomeLink connectivity and a 9-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation. The model also has additional safety features including front / rear parking sensors, rear cross traffic alert and rear automatic emergency braking.
