Facelifted 2021 Skoda Kodiaq Priced From £27,650 In The UK

Skoda has announced the range and pricing details of the facelifted Kodiaq for the UK market, with first deliveries scheduled for early July.

The updated Skoda Kodiaq starts from £27,650 in the entry-level SE five-seat trim level, featuring LED headlights and taillights, a gloss black rear spoiler, an off-road style lower front bumper element, grey stitching on the dash, front and rear armrests, and door inserts as standard.

Next up we get the Kodiaq SE L, priced from £31,895, and adding 19-inch alloy wheels, Full LED Matrix headlights with dynamic indicators, chrome roof rails, an extended roof spoiler with finlets, and textile floor mats.

The range also includes the SportLine and Laurin & Klement trim levels, priced from £35,805 and £41,720 respectively, while pricing for the range-topping Kodiaq vRS will be announced at a later date. All models from SE L and above feature seating for seven passengers as standard.

The facelifted Skoda Kodiaq has received an exterior refresh, featuring a new front end with a more upright radiator grille, a higher bonnet, redesigned bumpers, and new front light units, which are shallower and use LED technology as standard. The front bumper’s central air intake is also now wider, featuring aluminum-effect trim on the SE and SE L trim levels.

The rear bumper has gained a diffuser-like element, while the tailgate features a newly designed spoiler that extends further towards the back of the car. The rear lights are also redesigned, featuring a narrower shape and a new lighting signature.

The facelifted Skoda Kodiaq will be offered with a range of three petrol and two diesel engines in the UK market. The highlight here is the new 2.0-liter TSI petrol with 242 HP, which is fitted to the range-topping vRS model. This powertrain replaces the 2.0-liter TDI diesel unit found in the previous Kodiaq vRS and is bolted to a new DSG transmission as well, while power goes to all four wheels, as before.

Skoda’s biggest SUV model has also received a range of updated driver-assistance systems, including a new adaptive cruise control function and a new emergency braking function that can detect both pedestrians and cyclists.
