A bold race-oriented Volkswagen Beetle from Gran Turismo Sport will become a reality thanks to JP Performance and Prior Design.
The two companies have come together to develop a bodykit that will mimic the car from the racing simulator. This kit will be available for all Beetle models built between 2011 and 2019 and will set customers back €5,950 (~$7,300), not bad when you consider the transformative effect it has on the car.

It is claimed that the developer behind Gran Turismo Sport, as well as Volkswagen AG itself, have provided JP Performance and Prior Design with their blessing to build the kit.
Most of the Beetle’s body panels are replaced to make it look like a proper race car. For example, there is an overhauled front fascia that includes yellow-tinted driving lights, an aggressive bumper, a bespoke hood with NACA ducts and large air extractors, as well as flared wheel arches.
The modifications continue down the sides of the hatchback with extended skirts and unique race-inspired wheels. The tuners will also fit a set of new wheel arches at the rear to complement those at the front. Located at the rear of the VW will be a massive wing, a unique bumper, and a pronounced diffuser.
Just 53 examples of the bodykit are set to be made available and the first are expected to be completed by March next year.
