The Ferrari Purosangue is coming and while we have no idea what it’ll look like, it is rumored that it will take some design inspiration from the Roma. One thing we can say for certain is that it won’t look anything like the crossover showcased in these renderings.

This striking concept has been created by Dejan Hristov and is dubbed the Ferrari Simoom. It gets its name from a famous desert wind and looks unlike anything else from the Italian marque.

The front features thin, curved LED headlights that neatly follow the flowing design of the distinctive bumper that sports sharp air intakes. Making the front all the more interesting are openings behind the front wheels that allow air to flow across the hood and down the sides.

When viewed in profile, you’ll immediately notice that the crossover lacks traditional wing mirrors and has small rear-facing cameras mounted on the A-pillars. There are also no noticeable door handles. Speaking of the doors, those at the rear are very small and when opened, bring with them half of the rear wheel arch.

The Simoom has no rear window, obviously impacting the vehicle’s practicality but making it look even sleeker. Also located at the rear are narrow taillights, an LED light bar, dual tailpipes, and a pronounced diffuser.
