The Volkswagen Beetle is a true icon of the automotive industry but that clearly hasn’t stopped the owner of this particular example from giving the car some questionable modifications.
This Beetle was recently spotted in the parking lot of a Princess Auto facility in Canada and shared to Reddit. Bizarrely, it features a host of cheap aftermarket parts as well as some parts from the Jeep Liberty.
The front of the VW immediately catches the eye due to the presence of what looks like a rear wing, albeit stuck to the hood. The hood also features what appears to be a differential cover and also rocks an attachment with running lamps and large horns. Looks closely and you will also notice two Jeep badges applied to Maple Leaf graphics.

Elsewhere, the modified Beetle rocks a set of aftermarket wheels and has some tacky-looking fender flares. It also features chrome trim pieces from a Jeep Liberty on its skirts while the door has a handful of random stickers on it, plus some kind of chrome trimming. The rear quarter panel even features three differently-sized metallic dishes.
A plethora of other questionable modifications have been made, including the fitment of a roof rack with additional driving lights and turn signals.
While we don’t have any photos that show the rear of the Beetle, but we can see at least two chrome tailpipes sticking out from the rear.
