Patience is a virtue and evidently, the two drivers featured in this clip could do with some of it while behind the wheel.

This dashcam video was recently shared to Reddit and filmed on a U.S. highway on May 29, 2021.

It initially starts off by showing a white BMW 7-Series and a silver Toyota Prius driving in the lanes next to the cammer. As the driver of the 7-Series eases ahead of the cammer, a white Mazda3 suddenly comes into view, aggressively changing lanes to try and speed around the BMW.

At the same time, a black BMW 3-Series appears to the right of the cammer and also changes lanes to swerve around the Toyota Prius. The Mazda3 and 3-Series come within millimeters of touching each other as they overtake the 7-Series and the Prius but remarkably, it doesn’t appear as though they make any contact. The driver of the 3-Series also narrowly avoids hitting the Prius, again by the slimmest of margins.

Things could have been much worse. If the Mazda3 and the 3-Series were to hit each other, it’s likely that they would have also hit the 7-Series and Prius, resulting in a four-way crash at highway speeds that would have been devastating. Fortunately, those involved in the near-miss escaped without any damage to their cars. They may have ‘damaged’ their underwear, however.
