The Kia EV6 is one of the most exciting electric vehicles to launch in recent memory and YouTuber Asian Petrolhead has already had the opportunity to check it out in person.
While Kia is not yet ready to let members of the media test out the car, it has allowed members of the automotive media in Korea to check out the EV6 up close. This video provides us with a comprehensive look at both the exterior and interior of the EV6 and it certainly appears to have a lot going for it.
The Kia EV6 is based on the same electric platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 but its design is completely distinct and it is also offered with a high-performance GT variant that provides supercar levels of straight-line acceleration.

To our eyes, the retro-futuristic look of the Ioniq 5 is a little more appealing than the EV6 but we’re sure many people will prefer the more subtle, yet still modern design of the Kia.
The interior of the car is particularly impressive. Those up front will find beautifully-designed seats that depending in the trim level, can be clad in soft-touch suede. Kia will also sell the EV6 with 100 per cent vegan interior trims. All variants come with an expansion curved screen consisting of a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. The EV6 also has intriguing touch-sensitive media and climate controls housed within the same narrow display. In high-end models, there are three-stage heated and cooled seats at the front and two-way heated seats at the rear.
Kia recently confirmed that U.S. sales of the Kia EV6 will start early next year.
