Jay Leno Says He Ran A 9.2-Second Quarter-Mile Time In A Tesla Model S Plaid

The Tesla Model S Plaid may just be the fastest production car ever produced, at least according to Jay Leno’s quarter mile time. The host and car nut claimed he has run a 9.247 second time at 152 mph, while testing at Auto Club Famosa, near Bakersfield, California. “I made one pass, I drove up, had the NHRA guys there to make it official,” said Leno, speaking on the Spike’s Car Radio podcast.
