Rocket League announced today that it would be releasing several new and returning cars as part of its “Summer Road Trip” promotion.
The promotion begins on July first and lasts all month covering Independence Day, the game’s sixth anniversary, and more. In that time, players will be able to buy models in the game that are either new or returning for the first time since the game became free to play.
The promotion will kick off with the return of the Ford F-150 RLE that will be in the Item Shop from July 1 to July 7. Since that timing overlaps with Independence Day, the pickup will be offered as part of the “Red, White, & Boom Bundle” that also includes a new decal, a player banner, and “Union Beams Boost.” The Heat Seaker 2V2 game mode will also be playable for a limited time.
