There were literally dozens of classic cars that topped the million-dollar mark at the various auctions that took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, this weekend. But the ones featured here aren’t classics at all: they’re brand new, and Barrett-Jackson sold them for big bucks, all for charity.

A 2017 Ford GT donated by noted Arizona collector Ron Pratte sold for $2.5 million, with proceeds going towards autism charities in North Carolina and Michigan. That’s a heck of a big ticket, but it wasn’t the only one.

A pair of brand-new Corvettes together raised over $2.3 million to benefit military veterans. The bigger ticket of the two was a Carbon 65 Edition coupe (based on the Z06) that was signed by former President George W. Bush and by Jay Leno, and sold for $1.4 million to one John Staluppi, owner of the Atlantic Automotive Group (a chain of dealerships based in New York).

A Corvette ZR1 raised another $925k when it sold to Rick Hendrick – the generous NASCAR team owner and mega-dealer who has bought everything from an Acura NSX to a BMW M5 and i8 and a seemingly endless stream of VIN 001 American muscle cars, all for good causes as well.

An older Corvette 35th Anniversary Edition from 1988 raised $350k for the American Heart Association, a custom Pioneer Cedar One roadster another $350k for more military-related causes, the first new Bullitt Mustang $300k for Boys Republic, a new Ford F-250 pickup $115k for ChildHelp, a custom ’87 Chevy Monte Carlo $110k for the TGen Foundation, a new Bennington pontoon board $100k for the Mayshad Foundation, and a ’96 Mustang another $20k for the Jordan Vocational School.

With the $6.21 million raised for charity at the 47th Annual Scottsdale Auction, Barrett-Jackson has now helped raise more than $100 million over the past 47 years.
