2023 Range Rover Sport Spied With An Evolutionary Design

Spy photographers have snapped the 2022 Range Rover on multiple occasions and now we’re getting a glimpse at the redesigned Range Rover Sport.

Expected to be introduced late next year, the 2023 Range Rover Sport has an evolutionary design that is instantly recognizable.

While the camouflage does a good job of hiding the changes, we can see the model will have a slender grille and new LED headlights. Additional details are hard to make out, but it appears the Sport will adopt a larger central intake and a taller hood.

Continuing down the sides, we can see heavy cladding that presumably covers sleeker bodywork. The model also has a sloping roof and a wheelbase that appears similar to the current Sport. Other notable features include an angular rear window, an upright liftgate and what appears to be a shorter rear overhang.

Little is known about the model at this point, but it’s slated to ride on the Modular Longitudinal Architecture just like the 2022 Range Rover. Jaguar Land Rover has previously said the platform has been designed to accommodate internal combustion engines as well as mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric powertrains.

Specifics are sadly lacking, but rumors have suggested the 2022 Range Rover will be offered with a BMW-sourced V8 engine. If that pans out, we could also see it under the hood of the Range Rover Sport.

Of course, only time will tell and we’ll get a better idea of what to expect when the Range Rover debuts late this year or early next year.
