Say hello to the future of the WRC. From 2022 all rally cars will be plug-in hybrids, although entering an SUV may not have been what most people would have expected. However, the Puma Rally1 is significantly lowered and rides on the same platform as the Fiesta. It features a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine used by its predecessors, but in this case, is combined with an electric motor producing an extra 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS) boost for up to three seconds.
