The Alpha SuperWolf Is America’s Latest Electric Crew Cab Pickup

Following the unveiling of the Wolf and Wolf+, the Alpha Motor Corporation has introduced the new SuperWolf.

Essentially a crew cab version of the Wolf+, the SuperWolf is the most spacious member of the Wolf series as it measures 214.6 inches (5,450 mm) long, 78.5 inches (1,995 mm) wide and 69.3 inches (1760 mm) tall.

The company didn’t say much else about the model, but it features a familiar design with LED headlights, bulging fender flares and protruding bumpers. The truck will also be available with an assortment of options including auxiliary lights, tubular doors and a retractable tonneau cover.

While all of the specifications are “projected estimates,” the bed is slated to have a cargo capacity of 40 cubic feet (1,133 liters) as it measures approximately 65 inches (1652 mm) long, 58.7 inches (1490 mm) wide and 18 inches (458 mm) deep. Customers who need more room will be able to order a truck bed extension, which provides an extra 40 inches (1016 mm) of length.

The interior features a minimalist design and seating for four people. Details are limited, but we can see a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and a tablet-like infotainment system.

Performance specifications are also vague, but the SuperWolf is slated to have four-wheel drive and a 75-85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that should deliver a range of between 275-300+ miles (443-483+ km). The company also claims a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 6.5 seconds and a towing capacity of 6,724 lbs (3,050 kg), but those are simply projections and who knows if they’ll actually pan out.

Pricing is also a bit mysterious as the company said the truck will start between $48,000 and $56,000 – before a $7,500 federal tax credit. The company is currently accepting reservations, but they didn’t say when the model will be launched.
