Fisker will unveil the production-ready version of the Ocean SUV at November’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
It has been 18 months since the Fisker Ocean was first unveiled as a concept at CES 2020 and while the production model isn’t expected to look much different, its debut will mark an important step for the electric car manufacturer.

“Our reservation and order process was designed from the outset to be transparent, to prioritize quality over quantity and to ensure our stakeholders have confidence in the commitment of our reservation holders,” Fisker chairman and chief executive Henrik Fisker said in a statement. “As we get closer to launch, we will be working with our prospective owners to transition their reservations into contracted orders. We have many loyal supporters of the company waiting for their Ocean, and the reservation system is purposely designed to be fair to those who reserve with the intention to ultimately take delivery.”
In addition to gearing up for the launch of the Ocean, Fisker will open six experience centers around the world. The first of these will open in early 2022 in Los Angeles and Munich while the others are expected to open in New York, Copenhagen, Miami, and London in the second half of 2022.
