You may be familiar with YouTube’s Misha Charoudin for his videos at the Nurburgring, but even though his latest clip has gotten him in trouble with Audi, it’s not because of his antics on track.
As you may be aware, Germany recently saw devastating flooding, and the area around the Nurburgring was affected. So, Charoudin decided to use the RS6 Avant loaned to him by Audi to help drive dozens of volunteers and haul necessary supplies to areas in need. He also chose to publish content about how the super estate was faring in the floods.
This caught the eye of Audi’s press department, which, he claims, sent him an email expressing its displeasure at his use of the car.

“Yesterday I have received an email from Audi saying that […] this was not the purpose of the test car,” says Charoudin. “Maybe better I should have made some 300 km/h Autobahn runs and praised it for its top speed. Maybe I should have parked up and talked about spec, talked about price, something that the other journalists would do.”
According to Charoudin, the Audi press team was eager to ensure that the car was in perfect condition when he returned it to them.
For his part, Charoudin apologizes for using the car in a manner that displeased Audi and offered the mitigating circumstances that his own car had been destroyed in the floods, he never parked it in the affected areas, and that he didn’t use the RS6 Avant in any way that he wouldn’t have used his own car.
In the end, he says that the Audi worked flawlessly and that his time with it made his experience of the catastrophic flooding more bearable, accomplishing every task he threw at it with ease and providing great comfort and fun the whole time.
So it turns out that the RS6 Avant is one of those few cars that can accomplish more than even its manufacturer thinks it can. It’s kind of hard to see why Audi would be mad about getting such positive press – but in any case, we have reached out to them for comment and will update this story when we hear back.
