For many months now, the B is for Build channel on YouTube has been transforming a salvaged Lamborghini Huracan into an insane off-roader. Work on the car has now been completed and it has just undergone its first test on the dirt.
The car has been dubbed ‘Jumpacan’ and uses the passenger cell of Lamborghini’s popular mid-engined V10 supercar. However, pretty much every other part is new, including the suspension that allows the car to handle tricky off-road conditions far better than any ordinary Huracan.

B is for Build has equipped the Lamborghini with a new tubular frame that features unique chassis bracing and a bespoke off-road suspension system. The car is also equipped with massive 35-inch front and 37-inch rear tires while the brakes have been sourced from a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
Unfortunately, the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that once powered the Huracan is no more as it has been replaced by an LS V8 with 600 hp that’s coupled to a manual transmission. While an argument could certainly be made that this is no longer a real Lamborghini, one cannot deny just how unique it is.
The YouTuber channel will race at The Mint 400 in Las Vegas running from December 1-5 and this test served as an important field run to see if the mid-engined off-roader is ready for the challenges of such an event. After the test, Chris from B is for Build said the test revealed that the car needs more ground clearance, a set of larger shocks, and some skid plates before it is ready for competition.
