The 2021 Genesis GV70 has officially touched down in Australia and the automaker has also released a comprehensive photo gallery of the luxury SUV.
Three different engines will be offered for the GV70 in Australia. Sitting at the base of the range is a 2.5-liter turbocharged petrol four-cylinder with 300 hp (224 kW) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque. Coupled to this engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels, with all-wheel drive being an option.
The second petrol engine is a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 pushing out 374 hp (279 kW) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential at the rear. Last but not least is a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel with 206 hp and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) and all-wheel drive.

Genesis Australia will sell the GV70 in 2.5T, 2.5T AWD, 2.2D AWD, and 3.5T AWD Sport guise. All four models can be equipped with either the Sport Line package or the Luxury Package. Key upgrades of the Sport Line package include 19-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, unique front and rear bumpers, gloss black roof rails, dark chrome radiator grille, dark chrome window frame trim and interior upgrades including Nappa leather and suede appointed seats, suede headlining, and a three-spoke steering wheel.
As for the Luxury Package, it features forward attention warning, 3-zone climate control, rear privacy glass, 21-inch wheels, Nappa leather seats with quilted stitching, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Head-Up display, Smart Parking Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist, 18-way adjustable driver’s seat, and a massage function for the driver’s seat. It also includes a 16-speaker, 1050-watt Lexicon audio system.
The 2021 GV70 can be finished in gloss shades of Uyuni White, Savile Silver, Himayalan Grey, Vik Black, Barossa Burgundy, Mauna Red, Cardiff Green, and Adriatic Blue. It is also offered in matte finishes dubbed Matterhorn White, Melbourne Grey, and Brunswick Green. Available interior colors include Obsidian Black, Vanilla Beige, Havana Brown, Velvet Burgundy, Pine Grove Green, Sevilla Red, and Ultramarine Blue.
Local pricing starts at AU$66,400 (US$48,651) for the 2.5T with rear-wheel drive and AU$68,786 (US$50,400) with all-wheel drive. The diesel 2.2D starts at AU$71,676 (US$52,517) while the 3.5T is priced from AU$83,276 (US$61,017).
