The latest Ford Focus ST is forbidden fruit in America and that’s doubly sad as Mountune has cranked it up to impressive levels.

Thanks to their new m365 package, the car’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine produces 360 hp (268 kW / 365 PS) and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque.

That’s an increase of 84 hp (63 kW / 85 PS) and 103 lb-ft (140 Nm) of torque, and the company says it’s “more than enough power to fulfill the needs of even the most demanding performance enthusiasts.” While the company didn’t release detailed performance specifications, the model will certainly be faster than the standard Focus ST which can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in as little as 5.7 seconds.

The package costs £1,838.50 ($2,543.76 / €2,170.91) and consists of four different components including a high-flow air filter, a 3-inch high-flow downpipe with a sports catalyst, a sport particulate filter, and the mTune SMARTflash m365 power upgrade which is delivered via a Bluetooth OBD dongle. Furthermore, customers who already have the m330 upgrade kit and supporting hardware, can upgrade their cars to the new m365 specification for just £99 ($137 / €117).

According to Mountune’s managing director, David Mountain, “We are delighted to launch our latest upgrade kit for the much-loved mk4 Focus ST. Ford has done a great job with the stock ST and what we have done with this m365 upgrade kit is to fully optimize the calibration with our newly engineered low-back pressure exhaust hardware – this means maximum performance is available throughout the rev-range and it’s now a seriously fast car, which is also great fun to drive, too.”
