Elon Musk Admits Tesla’s Full Self Driving Beta Is “Actually Not That Great”
Boss of Tesla, Elon Musk, has admitted that their FSD tech isn’t as great as he’d have hoped. It came in response to a tweet about the tech company’s autonomous system vs. Ford’s BlueCruise. “FSD Beta 9.2 is actually not great imo,” Musk said on Twitter. “But Autopilot/AI team is rallying to improve as fast as possible.”
Lucid’s Flagship Air Dream Edition To Be Offered In ‘Performance’ And ‘Range’ Guises
Lucid has revealed that it will produce two variants of its flagship Air Dream Edition, known as “Performance” and “Range” respectively. Both will use the same dual-motor powertrain, but the output will differ. The Performance produces 1,111 hp, while the Range is capped at 933 hp. There will be a 0.2-second difference in 0-60mph (0-96km/h) times (Performance in 2.5 seconds, Range in 2.7), and both can hit a 168 mph (270 km/h) top speed. EPA range figures of either model are yet to be announced.
ACM City One Is A Budget-Friendly EV Designed For Fleet Use With Swappable Batteries
Developed with the help of Magna, the ACM City One is a compact EV weighing just 950 kg (2,094 pounds). Unlike the lighter Renault Twizy and Citroën Ami, it’s a regular A-segment car and not a heavy quadricycle, but the concept is similar. A novel feature is that you can swap batteries, allowing you to stay on the move for longer periods of time. Additionally, there is an optional roof box to carry more batteries which increases the maximum range from the standard 240 km (149 miles) up to 360 km (224 miles).
Ford Reportedly Cancels The Bronco Pickup Truck
Although it remained unconfirmed, a Bronco-based truck was expected to arrive in 2024 and battle the Jeep Gladiator. But, according to a new report, it isn’t happening anymore. Although no reason has been given, one theory is that it would have cannibalised sales from the Ranger, of which it was expected to borrow heavily.
WEY Teases A Retro-Inspired Crossover Concept For China
Chinese automaker WEY is looking to introduce a retro-inspired crossover at the Chengdu Auto Show. Details are scant, but a teaser posted on Weibo shows a retro-inspired crossover that appears to adopt some styling cues from classic Chevrolet Suburbans. As you can see, it has a rounded and recessed grille with horizontal slats as well as a vertical WEY badge. Other highlights include an old school bumper and pronounced fenders with circular headlights.

While it’s no real surprise, as fans may have spotted the Netflix crew busy gathering footage throughout the 2021 season, the official confirmation means we can look forward to a behind-the-curtains peek at the F1 circus once more.

Traffic signs in the town of Zandvoort have changed from reading 30 km/h to 33 km/h. The temporary move is ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix taking place in two weekends time. It’s in support of local hero Max Verstappen, who races under the number 33.
