A number of 2020 Jeep Wrangler models are being recalled in the United States due to an issue with a fuel supply line connector.
A recall notice issued by the car manufacturer reveals that 2020 Wrangler models equipped with the available 2.0-liter engine may have a plastic fuel supply line connector attached to the high-pressure fuel pump that could crack. Jeep says the faulty connector was used between January 24, 2020, through March 18, 2020.

If the fuel supply line connector cracks, it may leak gasoline into the engine compartment, potentially resulting in a vehicle fire, increasing the risk of injury to occupants. Jeep says that owners may notice a fuel odor if their Wrangler has experienced a crack in the connector.
The impact involves two- and four-door 2020 Wrangler models built between January 24, 2020, and March 18, 2020, totaling 14,410 vehicles with 1 percent of them estimated to have a cracked connector.
Jeep says that it is aware of 55 customer assistance records, 806 warranty claims, and three field reports of fires potentially related to the issue for all markets ranging from August 14, 2020, to August 5, 2021. The car manufacturer is not aware of any crashes or injuries related to the issue.
Jeep will begin notifying dealerships and owners on or around October 15, 2021. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will reimburse any owners who have incurred the cost of repairing the problem.
