Great Wall Motor has officially launched its Ora brand in Europe and the UK and is displaying a number of vehicles at the Munich Motor Show.
Three variants of the Ora Cat are currently on display, dubbed the 01 Cat, 02 Cat, and 03 Cat. The 01 Cat is the European variant of the Ora Good Cat unveiled last year while the sleek 03 Cat is a production variant of the Lightning Cat that Ora first showcased as a concept at April’s Shanghai Auto Show.

It is understood that both the Ora 01 Cat and 02 Cat feature a single electric motor with 171 hp and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque that powers the front wheels. Providing this motor with its juice are battery packs offered in 48 kWh and 63 kWh forms, resulting in 186 miles (300 km) and 248 miles (400 km) of range respectively. The 01 Cat and 02 Cat can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in a claimed 8.5 seconds and continue through to 100 mph (160 km/h).
Then we have the Ora 03 Cat. It is larger than the 01 and 02 and features a dual electric motor powertrain delivering a combined 408 hp and 501 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque, allowing it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3 seconds and continue through to 100 mph (160 km/h). It features an 82 kWh battery pack and should be good for a range of about 279 miles (450 km) on the WLTP cycle.
Great Wall plans to start selling the three Ora Cat models in Germany in early 2022 before opening it up to other markets across Europe. Pricing details remain unclear.
