Two years after the debut of the Ferrari F8 Spider, Novitec is offering a complete tuning kit for owners who want something more for their mid-engined supercar. The visual and performance upgrades are following the similar kit for the Novitec Ferrari F8 Tributo which is available since early 2021.
Starting with the exterior design, the Italian supercar now gets several carbon-fiber aero components including a two-piece splitter, flaps, hood inserts, rocker panels, side intakes, spoiler lip, and a new diffuser with larger fins. For those wanting a bit more attention, Novitec is also offering a larger rear spoiler or a rear wing made of carbon fiber. The same material was used for the door handles, side mirrors, and engine cover.

Novitec’s F8 Spider also gets a set of Novitec NF10 forged rims manufactured in collaboration with Vossen. They are measuring 21-inches at the front and 22-inches at the rear, shod in 255/30 ZR 21 and 335/25 ZR 22 performance tires. On the display car, these are finished in Satin Bronze, contrasting the black bodywork, but Novitec is offering plenty of other color options.

Thanks to the Novitec sport springs, the suspension is lowered by 35 mm (1.4 inches) improving the handling. In order to protect the precious carbon-fiber splitter from speed bumps, there is also a hydraulic suspension system raising the front axle by 40 mm (1.6 inches).
The twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 from Maranello is already producing 710 hp (530 kW / 720 PS) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) in stock form. Thanks to the Novitec N-Tronic control software-calibrating module, the company managed to extract up to 791 hp (590 kW / 802 PS) and 898 Nm (662 lb-ft) of torque without changing the engine’s hardware.

The power boost allows for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.6 seconds (-0.2 seconds), a 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 7.8 seconds (-0.4 seconds) and a top speed of over 340 km/h (211 mph). As for the exhaust, Novitec is offering many options with or without active flaps, including the lightweight Inconel material available with optional 999 fine-gold plating.
Novitec didn’t announce pricing for the aforementioned upgrades but it’s safe to say they won’t come cheap since the F8 Spider is a $275,000 supercar.
