Elektron Motors is a German startup aiming to build electric sportscars and hypercars with world-class performance. Even though all of Elektron’s upcoming models are still in the early stages of development and only appear in the form of renderings, the company claims they will reach production.

After the 2,300 hp Quasar that was announced a few months ago, Elektron unveiled the 1,400 hp Truva that will allegedly cost less than €600,000 ($706,150).

The Elektron Truva looks quite different from the Koenigsegg-inspired Quasar. It has a wide and low body with plenty of intakes and LED lighting as the digital renderings reveal. The company didn’t provide any information about the electric powertrain other than its output. As for the Truva name, it comes from an ancient city in Turkey which is the homeland of Armağan Arabul, CEO and founder of Elektron Motors.

According to Elektron’s official Facebook page, the pandemic forced them to change their plans. However, they are now back on track, developing both the Quasar and the Truva. The statement reads: “Every car we develop at Elektron Motors will be designed to be victorious. And yet they will also be graceful”.

The company claims that their partners “come from the Mars missions, innovative lightweight aircrafts, futuristic materials, high-end OEMs, top of the line motorsports and the energy sector,” although they didn’t reveal any names.

We expect to learn more about Elektron’s projects in the future and, of course, see a functional prototype of one of their hypercars.
