The 2023 Range Rover Sport SVR, which is expected to be released sometime next year, has been spotted by our spy photographers on and around what appears to be the Nurburgring.
The test car wears the same 10-spoke wheels as the others we’ve seen, as well as the same massive brakes that sit behind them. It also features the same quad exhaust pipes as the one spotted back in August, which is the main indicator that we’re likely looking at an SVR model. Not much has changed since the last time we saw it, the exception being a less camouflaged front end.

By the looks of it, it appears that this new model has partitioned brake ducts in the bottom corners of the bumper, which, if carried over to production, would be a departure from the gaping intakes typically found on Range Rover’s other SVR models. In all likelihood, though, these partitioned intakes are likely just a cover-up for the actual design.
As for the styling in general, it’s obviously hard to piece together given the camo, but it appears to retain the same squarish proportions Range Rovers are known for, just with some updated graphics. It’s safe to expect something fairly similar to the outgoing model but with the addition of slimmer headlights and taillights, updated front and rear fascia, and tweaked side detailing.

Not much is known about what’s under the skin, but we do know the SUV will likely ride on Jaguar Land Rover’s Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA), which has been designed to work for purely internal combustion vehicles as well as mild hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and fully electric vehicles. Details on the powertrain are scarce, but the Sport has been speculated to use a BMW-sourced V8 engine alongside the full-size Range Rover on the same platform.
