If you love the Ford Mustang but want something a little different than the fifth- and sixth-generation models that you most commonly see, then this Mustang could be perfect.
What you’re looking at is a 2004 Mustang, meaning it was the final model year for the fourth-generation car. However, this is no ordinary 2004 Mustang and has been extensively upgraded, making it perfect for the drag strip or simply enjoying on the street. Away from crowds of people, of course.

Immediately catching the eye is the MystiChrome color-shifting paint that was exclusively offered for the 2004 Mustang Cobra model and according to Street Side Classics, just 515 examples were finished in this color. The paint appears to have been well cared for and continues to shimmer under direct light.
Some significant modifications have also been made to the car. It now sports a Teksid aluminum block and the standard 4.6-liter V8 has been enlarged to 5.0-liters. Additionally, it sports a pair of Precision ball-bearing turbochargers, wastegates, a Tial blow-off valve, Treadstone intercooler, and a custom turbo oil drain reservoir.
The engine has been dyno tested at 789 hp at the rear wheels while running on pump gas and transmits its power through the wheels courtesy of a four-speed transmission. It also features an aftermarket torque converter, transbrake, Mag-Hytec deep sump pan, and a separate cooler.
Various other changes have been made, including the fitment of UPR tubular A-arms, QA1 coilovers, and adjustable strut towers. It also has UPR K-member and Kenny Brown subframe bracing as well as slotted brake discs at all four corners.
The car has an asking price of $51,995 which isn’t bad considering all the upgrades made to it.
