Ford has produced so many different Mustang variants over the decades that it’s hard to keep track of them all. However, of those that Ford has built in recent years, the Shelby GT350R is certainly one of the most remarkable.
Sure, the current Shelby GT500 has significantly more power but the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated Voodoo V8 of the GT350 and GT350R made it an instant classic, largely thanks to the engine’s use of a flat-plane crank and its rev-happy nature. It also produces 526 hp and 429 lb-ft (581 Nm) of torque. Ford no longer builds the GT350, which means the only way to get your hands on one is through the used market.

This particular GT350R is a 2019 model and is up for auction through Bring A Trailer. It was sold new by Villa Ford in Orange County, California and spent time in Utah and Florida before being acquired by the selling dealer in August, 2021. It has just 836 miles on the clock and is being offered with a copy of the window sticker, a car cover, manufacturer’s literature, accessories, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Utah title.
Adorning the exterior of the car is a shade dubbed Magnetic Metallic with matte black stripes and red accents. It also features a carbon fiber rear wing, vented hood, and the factory 19-inch carbon fiber wheels wrapped in 305/30 front and 315/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The GT350R also features Ford’s MagneRide adjustable suspension.
Found in the cabin are Recaro seats clad in Ebony cloth and Miko suede with red accents and stitching. While ‘R’ models lack rear seats, the car still has some creature comforts like a large infotainment system and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen 12-speaker sound system.
