The Aston Martin Valkyrie is the type of performance production car that owners (the few and lucky ones) can customize to the nth degree.

Armed with this knowledge, Instagram user Lamborghiniks, who happens to own a Pagani Huayra BC, Lamborghini Veneno, Koenigsegg Agera XS, and more, has revealed that his Valkyrie will feature moon dust.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. The successful entrepreneur took to social media to reveal that he has purchased a rock from the moon and will have it ground down to dust and used in the hypercar’s Karosserie Lunar Red paint. In a world of hypercar ownership where one-upmanship is the name of the game, this is certainly a unique way to stand out.

As cool as it is to have moon dust in your hypercar, that won’t be the standout of the car. Instead, the claimed performance figures of the latest Aston Martin are what will set it apart from all other road cars before it.

Powering the Valkyrie will be a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that’s been tuned by Cosworth. This engine will be complemented by battery power from Rimac, bringing total grunt to roughly 1,130 hp. When combined with roughly 4,000 pounds of downforce in the track-only variant, the Valkyrie should be capable of lap times to rival a Formula One car.
