Huge Collection Of Chip Foose Creations To Be Displayed At SEMA

A massive collection of vehicles modified by Chip Foose will be put on display during the SEMA Show, running from November 2 to November 5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Chip Foose is one of the most well-respected and renowned custom car designers and artists in the United States and has made a name for himself with wild hot rods. At SEMA, the largest collection of Foose-built vehicles ever assembled will be gathered together.

No less than 20 of Foose’s creations will be on display at the special ‘Chip Foose Experience’ exhibit in the North Fall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The cars that will be displayed include a 1932 Ford Roadster, 1933 Ford Speed 33, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, 1939 Cadillac 60 Special ‘Madam X’, 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe, 1932 Muroc Roadster, and a 1974 Jaguar E-Type Roadster.

Foose’s own designs, the FD-100, Impression, Imposter, and Hemisfear will also be on display. No less than 60 of Foose’s design sketches will also be viewable during the event.

Earlier this year, one of Chip Foose’s most recognizable creations, his 2002 Ford Thunderbird ‘Speedbird’ that was named SEMA’s 2003 Best of Show, actually hit the used car market. Foose made comprehensive modifications to that car and equipped it with a 3.9-liter V8 with 252 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. The build process for that car was documented for the Discovery Channel’s show Rides. It was listed up for sale for $49,995 and quickly sold.
