The 2022 Range Rover has caused a stir in the automotive world after its official debut last week and naturally, it didn’t take time for the first aftermarket options to appear. British company Glohh which specializes in the design of “specialist lighting for luxury automobiles” presented OLED taillights for the new generation Range Rover for those who are not happy with the stock units.

Land Rover is offering plenty of customization options for its SUV flagship but none of them has to do with the taillights. The stock units are hidden when not illuminated, with two thin vertically arranged elements connected through a horizontal stripe on the tailgate that hosts the dynamic indicators.

For their aftermarket units, Glohh chose a more high-tech styling approach with new graphics on the main units and on the horizontal strip, while replacing the Range Rover lettering with their own illuminated logo.

Additionally, the Mood Matrix System (MMS) allows the driver to select between three different light signatures. This is achievable thanks to adjustable, individually controlled OLED segments that can automatically adjust their brightness providing “the most optically satisfying contrast depend on the distance of the following vehicle”.

Glohh’s taillights are still in concept form, with the market launch scheduled towards the fourth quarter of 2023. If you don’t want to wait that long, you can always order the GL-6 taillight for the previous generation Range Rover (2012-2021) that will be available sometime in 2022. Judging from previous offerings from Glohh like the GL-5x for the Range Rover Sport, the new taillights won’t come cheap.
