The McLaren P1, alongside the Porsche 918 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari, represented a pivotal moment in the history of high-performance supercars, each launching with hybrid powertrains just as the current age of electrification started to kick off. The P1 is the rarest of them all with just 375 examples produced and one unit is now looking for a new home.

The 2015 McLaren P1 in question has been listed up for auction through Collecting Cars in Los Angeles, California and was finished from the factory in a shade known as Fire Black. Contrasting the paint is a red McLaren logo on the hood, as well as red brake calipers. The wheels have a Stealth satin finish and are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. A plethora of parts are also finished in gloss carbon fiber, including the front bumper, roof scoop, rear bumper, side panels, and rear wing.

A $7,062 Service Bill

The listing states that the original owner collected the car from the factory in the UK before it was sent to the U.S. It had its most recent service in December 2019 with 337 miles (542 km) on the clock.

This service cost a cool $7,062 and included a detailed inspection, high-voltage safety check, front and rear suspension tightness checks, and a lithium-ion battery condition and charge level check. The engine oil and filter were also changed while the coolant, brake fluid, and HAS reservoir fluids were also flushed. The car now has 433 miles (696 km) on the odometer.

As McLaren P1 interiors go, the configuration of this one is relatively inoffensive and sports a combination of black leather, Alcantara, exposed carbon fiber, and red contrast stitching.
