Perhaps bored of ripping off the designs of modern vehicles, Chinese automaker Eagle has decided to copy the BMW Isetta and reimagine it as a four-door.
Officially dubbed the Eagle EG6330K, the car is just as curious as the original Isetta. However, the addition of two extra doors does make for a rather unsightly creation. On its website, Eagle says that the EG6330K was made to look like the Isetta but as Car News China points out, it shares even more in common with the BMW 600.
Like both the Isetta and 600, the Eagle features two circular headlights and has an almost-identical front fascia. However, unlike the Isetta where the front doubled as the door, the Eagle’s nose doesn’t open up.
Power for the EG6330K comes from a small electric motor delivering the equivalent of 5.3 hp. Working in conjunction with a 72 kWh lead-acid battery, the Eagle can reach 60 km/h and has a range of 120 km.
Inside, the car is free of any superfluous components and includes a simple MP3 player, straightforward air conditioning and heating controls, and simply dials.
Pricing details have yet to be announced but Eagle says it is targeting young buyers who live in large cities with the car.
