No, this 2014 Porsche Cayman isn’t the hot GT4 – not even an S model. However, making it stand out from pretty much every other Cayman, at least in the UK where it resides, is the paint scheme.
The German sports car has been listed up for sale through Fairmont Sports and Classics and has an asking price of £32,995 (~$44,200). The listing notes that the car is painted in a special color dubbed Cognac Metallic which is a homage to Porsche’s Nougat Metallic paint used in the 1980s. The Cayman was recently imported from Japan and is thought to be the only one in the UK in this color. The seller notes that “its underside presents like a car with half of this mileage and the paintwork and bodywork will be mistaken for a brand new car.”

As a 981-generation model, this entry-level Cayman features a 2.7-liter mid-mounted flat-six. This engine produces a respectable 261 hp and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque and in this case, is coupled to a seven-speed PDK transmission, rather than the six-speed manual that was also available.
Images show that the car’s cabin is clad in a combination of black leather and Alcantara that has been very well maintained. The interior looks so clean that you would never know the car has a touch under 83,000 miles (133,500 km) on the clock.
Many people hate brown cars but this one isn’t too shabby, wouldn’t you agree?
