Few cars have proven to be as popular in the aftermarket scene as the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R and this particular example, tuned to deliver over 1,000 hp is one of the fastest you’re ever likely to come across.
Featured in a recent video put together by AutoTopNL, this GT-R was imported into the UK from Japan in 2007 and has been equipped with a Veilside widebody kit. It also features a custom wrap and sits on a set of stunning 3-piece forged wheels.
Extensive work has also been done to the car’s famed RB26 engine. This engine has been fully forged and rocks new pistons, rods, ARP headstuds, main bolts, gaskets, and rocks a single Garrett G35-1050 turbocharger. There is also a 60 mm Turbosmart wastegate, and 6boost manifold, and a six-speed sequential transmission that sends the power to the ground. An upgraded fuel system has also been fitted.

All up, this Skyline GT-R delivers 1,000 hp and 720 lb-ft (976 Nm) of torque, though the builder says they are chasing even more power.
While testing out the car on the Autobahn, AutoTopNL recorded a staggering 100-200 km/h (62-124 mph) time of 3.95 seconds and was able to push the Skyline through to a GPS-verified top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph).
It’s not just the outright speed that makes this Nissan special but also its incredible engine and exhaust notes. It roars down the road and the sequential transmission makes gear changes all the more addictive.
