Nissan today announced pricing for the initial lineup of the all-electric Ariya at the LA Auto Show. The EV starts at $45,950 ($47,125 w/ $1,175 destination) for the Ariya Venture+ FWD trim.
Customers can also reserve their vehicle today through its website. There, they will be invited to configure a vehicle and place a $500 refundable deposit on the car after setting up a MyNissan account.
Once the order is made and the vehicle built, it will be delivered to an EV-Certified Nissan dealer of the customer’s choosing and the purchase process can be completed either online or in person.

The first 10,000 reservations made before January 31, 2022, will also qualify for a free two-year EVgo membership and $500 in charging credits upon purchase, worth up to an estimated 5,000 miles (8,047 km) of EV driving.
“The all-new Ariya is the embodiment of the new Nissan, and now customers can go out and be one of the first to reserve this game-changing electric crossover,” said Michael Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. and Marketing and Sales. “Ariya leverages our decade of expertise selling mass-market EVs, uniquely positioning Nissan and our dealers to deliver both a thrilling vehicle and outstanding ownership experience.”
The Ariya has an 87 kWh battery that, in the base model, sends power to an electric motor that makes 238 hp (241 PS/177 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) of torque. Nissan anticipates that it will be capable of going up to 300 miles (483 km) on a charge.
The Evolve+ FWD and the Premiere FWD are powered by the same drivetrain and should be good for 285 miles (459 km) of range, but the latter is only available to customers who participate in the reservation program. It gets 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with unique aero wheel cover treatments, illuminated Premiere kick plates, and a Premiere grade emblem. It starts at $53,450 ($54,625 w/ destination).
For those who want a little more power and a few more driven wheels, the Ariya Platinum+ e4ORCE AWD is the only option for now. It also gets the 87 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup that makes 389 hp (394 PS/290 kW) and 442 lb-ft (599 Nm) of torque. Nissan estimates that it will be able to manage 265 miles (426 km) per charge and prices start at $58,950 ($60,125 w/ destination).
Nissan revealed pricing for the new Ariya at the LA Auto Show today, where it also showed the 2022 Rogue, Pathfinder, Frontier, and the 2023 Z. Deliveries of the Ariya are expected to start in the fall of 2022, first for FWD models, followed by AWD models. It also expects to reveal more trim levels in the near future.
