Galpin Auto Sports has unveiled its take on the Defender that takes its inspiration from classic Land Rovers. Shown at the LA Auto Show, the pair of SUVs combine the best of new and old.
Partnering with apparel brand and retail boutique UNDEFEATED, the Defenders feature steel wheels, two-tone paint, and much more. Together, they take their inspiration from the classic Series I and Series II Land Rovers.
The first, a Defender 90 P400 First Edition, is painted Jaguar Green, which is topped off by an Ivory roof matched by Ivory wheels. It’s equipped with parchment leather upholstery and the interior gets Land Rover’s blackout package. A custom trunk storage unit, meanwhile, has a surfboard attachment, which, given that this is the LA Auto Show, seems appropriate.

The second one, a Defender 110 P400 SE, gets Jaguar Navy paint as well as an Ivory roof and wheels. Its interior is also upholstered in parchment leather, but it gets navy houndstooth inserts. It has also been kitted out with a Nomad Kitchen Co. sink and prep table pullout, as well as a domestic refrigerator pullout and a three-drawer rear cargo storage unit, in case you need to make a casserole while you’re deep in the jungle.
Unfortunately, further details will be withheld until December. We do, however, know that the Defender P400 is fitted with Land Rover’s 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that makes 395 hp (400 PS/295 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque.
