Back in December 2020, Bremach announced it would bring the UAZ Patriot to the US for the 2022 model year. It seems that the company is delivering on its promise, as the Russian off-roader debuted at the Los Angeles Motor Show last week with an MSRP of $26,405.
The Bremach 4×4 SUV as it is now called, is the first of many bodystyle variants to come, including passenger and commercial vehicles. Despite looking like a rebadged UAZ Patriot, Bremach suggests that its model is “uniquely engineered and homologated for the American market”.
The closely-related Bremach 4×4 pickup – or Bremach Brio 4×4 – is going through its final stages of homologation for sales in the U.S. so we should be expecting it soon.
The SUV is fitted with a 2.7-liter 16-valve four-cylinder gas engine producing 150 hp (112 kW / 152 PS). Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission (GM 6L50) with the help of a two-speed transfer case and an electronic 4×4 system. According to Bremach’s official website, the model is using Bosch computer electronics and safety systems.
Standard equipment includes features like LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels with 245/60R18 tires, power windows, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, and heated rear seats. Buyers can also upgrade their 4×4 SUV with a complete off-road bodykit from BMS Alfa, and 17-inch Raceline wheels fitted with 265/65 R17 Goodyear A/T tires for a total cost of $3,650 over the car’s $26,405 MSRP.

Bremach was originally founded in Italy in the ’50s as a company specializing in all-terrain trucks, frames, powertrains, and engineering. The American branch was founded in 2010 in Nevada working on hybrid and electric powertrains, fuel cell design, and stored energy management systems before bringing the Russian UAZ vehicles to the US.
The vehicles are assembled at Bremach facilities in Southern California and will be sold through Bremach Dealers. The company is already accepting pre-orders with a deposit of $100. Bremach is offering a 5-year or 60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, combined with a 10-year or 120,000-mile warranty for the powertrain.
