Ford is preparing to go all Florida Man as they’ve provided a sneak peek at the upcoming Bronco Everglades.
Originally announced in October, the model will be launched next spring and feature a number of off-road focused upgrades.
Besides the factory-installed winch and snorkel that were announced this fall, The Bronco Nation says the SUV will be equipped with unique wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear Territory MT tires. The model is also slated to have a hard top with integrated roof rails.

Getting back to the winch, it’s apparently the same one that is already offered on the current Bronco. It’s a $3,500 accessory which requires the heavy duty modular front bumper and includes a 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg) Warn winch with 100 feet (30 meters) of line as well as a wired remote. While the winch could come in handy on the trail, it’s not compatible with adaptive cruise control so that feature will likely be missing on the Everglades
Since the model is just a special edition, we can expect engine options to carryover. As a result, the Bronco Everglades will likely come equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that develops up to 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque on premium gasoline. Customers should also be able to upgrade to a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, which offers up to 330 hp (246 kW / 335 PS) and 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) of torque.
That remains unconfirmed and specifications reportedly won’t be released until the first quarter of 2022. However, few people will likely care as Ford is slated to detail the Bronco Raptor in the same quarter.
