The Jaguar C-X75 promised to be a great performance car but sadly never reached the production line. However, but if you have a spare £864,000 ($1.1 million), you could buy one of the rare examples that starred in the James Bond film Spectre.
Jaguar first unveiled the C-X75 in 2010 and brought it to life with the help of Williams Advanced Engineering. The concept featured two diesel micro gas turbines and four electric motors delivering a combined 778 hp. Plans to build a production model with a forced induction petrol engine and four electric motors were announced in May of 2011.

Unfortunately, Jaguar killed off the project in late 2012 due to the global economic crisis. This decision became all the more disheartening for car enthusiasts when it was revealed that C-X75 prototypes featured a 1.6-liter turbocharged and supercharged inline-four, four electric motors, and pumped out a combined 890 hp, enough to make it a viable rival to the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, and Ferrari LaFerrari.
This particular C-X75 was one of seven stunt cars used in Spectre and it is chassis number 007. While it looks the same as the fully-functional C-X75 prototypes that Jaguar developed, it doesn’t feature a complex hybrid powertrain and is instead driven by a mid-mounted supercharged V8.
The car has been listed up for sale by Simon Drabble Cars in the UK and was originally sold by Jaguar Land Rover to the current seller. JLR’s Classic division has serviced the car throughout the years. So, would you sink a little over a million in a Bond car (even if it was driven by the bad guy) that looks as exotic as this and is much more rare than most?
