We already know that Honda and Acura are jointly working with GM to create two fully-electric SUVs, with Honda’s interpretation known as the Prologue. Now we might have the first inkling of Acura’s electric offering, with the ADX name trademarked in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Honda’s Tokyo Auto Salon Lineup Includes A Performance-Focused N-One And An N-WGN Woodie
The Tokyo Auto Salon returns to the event calendar for 2022, and Honda will be bringing a full line-up of concepts for the show. It includes the N-WGN Picnic, the N-One-based K-Climb concept, the Fit e:HEV Crosstar, and an N-Van-based car called the “Third Place.” Besides the aforementioned models, Honda will introduce the camouflaged Civic Type R, and the STEP WGN e: HEV Spada, and Vezel e: HEV Modulo X concepts. They’ll be joined by the N-Box Custom STYLE + BLACK edition.

Factory staff are currently inspecting the remaining completed vehicles to ensure they are suitable for use before being shipped out. Owners slated to receive now-destroyed cars are being contacted by their local Chevy dealerships to resubmit their orders.
China Will No Longer Require Foreign Carmakers To Form Joint Ventures
For the first time since 1994, foreign passenger car manufacturers will no longer be required to form joint partnerships with local companies to enter the Chinese market. In 2018, the Chinese government loosened the maximum ownership rate to 70 percent, but the latest news will likely prompt legacy car manufacturers to take over their joint ventures and make it easier for new car manufacturers, such as Rivian and Lucid, to enter the Chinese market.
