The new Ford Bronco has proven to be one of the hottest vehicles of the year, thanks in part to its handsome retro design. Seeing as that design draws so heavily from previous Broncos, why not lean into the retro theme with a vintage paint job? That’s exactly what one Bronco owner did, and their creation just sold for an obscene amount of money.

Listed on eBay, the two-door 2021 Bronco First Edition sold for $87,490, or $31,075 more than the already somewhat steep $56,915 base price. The SUV’s main highlight is its retro paint job, which features the First Edition exclusive color of Lightning Blue with white vinyl striping overtop.

Other details include retro-styled Bronco script on the fenders as well as a set of bright silver wheels on off-road tires, though the original First Edition badging was preserved under the wrap and the original wheels were included in the sale. Inside, the SUV sports a Navy Pier interior to match the exterior’s color scheme.

Powering the Bronco, which is said to be the 695th two-door First Edition, is a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 making 330 hp (335 PS / 246 kW) and 415 lb-ft (563 Nm) of torque. It sends that power to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission, which is the only transmission option since the V6 can’t be had with a stick shift.

Nevertheless, whoever ended up buying this Bronco got a near-new vehicle, as the odometer reads just 67 miles (108 km), and they can enjoy the wind in their hair thanks to the convertible top.
