On first impressions, you could be excused for thinking this 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray had just rolled off a showroom floor. However, it is actually being auctioned off by Copart after being damaged.
The listing states that the ‘Vette has sustained undercarriage damage but there’s no info concerning its extent. The only visible damage we can see has been done to one of the rear strut towers where part of the electronically-controlled damper can now been seen. Evidently, it will need to be replaced.

It’s hard to know what kind of incident the car was involved in to cause this damage. Had the car driven over a curb, for example, extensive undercarriage damage could be done. However, the ‘Vette has no signs of damage on the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser, indicating that this probably isn’t the case. Regardless of what caused the damage, it was obviously enough for the car’s insurer to not want to repair it.
The listing notes that this Corvette has been equipped with the 2LT package and has an estimated retail value of $108,346. That’s a lot of money, particularly since a Corvette 2LT Coupe starts at a touch under $70,000, although the quoted retail value is similar to what lightly-used Corvette models are going for on the used car market.
It’s hard to know how much this Corvette will sell for but given that it has just 358 miles (576 km) on the clock, we suspect someone might snap it up very quickly.
