Slightly more than 4,200 Buick LaCrosse, Buick Regal, and Chevrolet Malibu models have been recalled by General Motors.
This is an expansion of a previous recall where subject vehicles may have rear toe links that received improper electrocoating corrosion protection, meaning they could suffer from long-term corrosion. This could cause the toe link to thin and ultimately to fracture. If this occurs, a driver may have difficulty controlling the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
