While we are waiting for the debut of the all-new BMW 7-Series later this year, Manhart revisited the current G11 generation. While the MH7 has existed since 2015, this time Manhart opted for an unconventional tune, based on the diesel-powered 740d xDrive.
The MH7 400d is fitted with the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine, which here is tuned to produce 400 hp (298 kW / 405 PS) and 790 Nm (583 lb-ft) of torque thanks to ECU remapping and Manhart’s Turbo Performance kit. This is a healthy increase over the stock 740d which makes 315 hp (235 kW / 320 PS) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft), while it is more powerful even from the now-discontinued 750d flagship, which employed a quad-turbodiesel with 394 hp (294 kW / 400 PS) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) right from the factory.

Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a tweaked eight-speed automatic gearbox and a standard xDrive system. While the pictured example doesn’t have modifications in the exhaust and the brakes, Manhart can tune them according to the preferences of each owner.
The show car in the photos is a pre-facelift BMW 7-Series (2015-2019) with the M Package but the tuning kit is also compatible with the facelifted G11. Visually, it includes a front splitter and a lip spoiler made of carbon fiber, plus the optional Manhart livery with gold accents across the body and Manhart badges replacing the BMW emblems.
Last but not least, a new set of multi-spoke 22-inch Manhart Venturi alloy wheels are shod in mixed performance tires (265/30 R22 at the front and 295/25 R22 at the rear). For a more aggressive stance, the air suspension has been lowered by 20-30 mm (0.8-1.2 inches) and 15 mm H&R spacers have been added.

The interior remains mostly stock with white leather upholstery, an Alpina instrument cluster, and a Manhart badge on the steering wheel but the tuner is offering more personalization options upon request including the optional starlight headliner.
In terms of pricing, you will need €4,890 ($5,530) for the wheels, €3,295 ($3,726) for the carbon front splitter, €2,340 ($ 2,646) for the carbon lip spoiler, €3,845 ($4,348) for the carbon rear diffuser, and €1,099 ($1,243) for the Manhart decals. Most importantly, the performance upgrades for the diesel engine of the 740d xDrive are listed for €6,999 ($7,914).
