The Fisker Ocean has celebrated its European debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Set to go into production in November and arrive in selected European countries shortly thereafter, the Ocean is an electric crossover that features “beautiful craftsmanship, ingenious engineering, innovation, affordability, and sustainability.”

Since we’ve already seen the model, we’ll remind you it comes nicely equipped with LED lighting units, a panoramic glass roof, a power liftgate, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Buyers will also find a PowerBank system that features an external outlet as well as vehicle-to-vehicle charging and vehicle-to-home backup power.

Moving into the cabin, there’s a digital instrument cluster and a 17.1-inch infotainment system.  They’re joined by a digital rearview mirror and an eight-speaker Harman audio system. The model also sports an assortment of standard driver assistance systems including automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, parking assist, and traffic sign recognition technology.

A handful of different trims will be available and the entry-level Ocean Sport has a front-mounted electric motor that produces 275 hp (205 kW / 279 PS). It will be powered by a Touring Range battery that enables the crossover to travel an estimated 273 miles (440 km) under the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure.

Moving up the trim ladder is the Ocean Ultra, which has a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with 540 hp (403 kW / 548 PS). This cuts the 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time to 4.2 seconds, while the Hyper Range battery allows for an increased range of approximately 379 miles (610 km).

One step up is the Ocean Extreme and Ocean One Launch Edition. Both feature an upgraded dual-motor all-wheel drive system that develops 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS) and this enables the models to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds. The range-topping crossovers also have a Hyper Range battery that should give them a range of 391 miles (630 km) in the WLTP cycle.

Prices vary by country, but the Ocean starts at £34,990 in the United Kingdom, €41,560 in Germany, and €41,900 in France. They climb from there and higher-end variants offer 22-inch wheels, power rear quarter “doggie” windows, and solar panels. Buyers can also upgrade to get an ambient lighting system, heated front / rear seats, and more advanced driver assistance systems such as traffic jam assist, lane centering, and automatic parking technology.
